This is an extremely difficult post for me to write. On Monday, July 15, I fell while painting a bathroom in my home. I suffered a tibial plateau fracture on my left leg. I was told by the emergency room doctor that I would very likely have to undergo surgery. I have an appointment with an orthopedic surgeon on Tuesday morning and will know more after that appointment. Everything I have learned about this type of fracture in the last few days, however, indicates that my recovery will be slow. With or without surgery, I will not be able to put any weight on the leg for approximately 12 weeks while it heals.
In the meantime, some classes at the studio will be going on as planned. Marla and Raine should be able to keep all of the Never-2-Late and Tap Level 1 classes going. At this point, I am unsure about the other classes. It is very likely that I will need to cancel some or all of the level 2 and 3 classes in addition to my HeartBeats classes. I just don’t know at this point. As I learn more about what my recovery will be like and can start making some plans, I will make updates to this page and will also post information on the studio Facebook page. I am determined to keep my business afloat during this time.
Thank you for your understanding in this matter. I appreciate you all! Your business means the world to me and I look forward to putting my shoes on and returning to the studio as soon as possible.

I’m sorry Mary. I’m certain you are suffering (not just from the break) from this news. Don’t worry about me…I’ll stick with you, and the studio.
Just get well!!
Dear Mary,
We’re so sorry to hear about your fall. Wishing you a full, safe recovery. Take time to rest your mind and body, knowing all will stay well with your studio. The strength and cohesiveness of the Wall-2-Wall tap family will more than endure this temporary set-back. Our thoughts and prayers are with you! <3 Jeanne and Tom
Get well! I’ll be around when you return.
Get well soon

So sorry to hear about your fall!! Oh dear! Sending many good thoughts and prayers your way for a speedy recovery.
Mary,
I’m so sorry. Try to focus on healing. You should have someone set up a GoFundMe campaign to cover costs of keeping the studio afloat and your medical expenses.
Oh no…wishing you a speedy recovery, Mary…and thank you for letting everyone know!

So sorry to hear this. I broke my leg skiing at 60 (spiral tibia fracture) 3 yrs ago. Had to have surgery; no weight for 12 wks; rod put in. I’ve skied again and started tap — SO IF ANYONE CAN DO IT — YOU CAN! Hang in there. Thinking of you!

I will go back to tap 1 awaiting your recovery.
Take care of yourself.
Hi Mary. I read all the info I could find on your website. But wonder how you are progressing at this time. I feel so bad for this happening. Am awaiting your return so I can begin the level 2 series. For now, I am concentrating on my sister, who is very ill with cancer.
Take care of yourself and come back to us.
